In the early 2000s, a group of dedicated professionals in Atlanta, Georgia came together to form the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineer's Atlanta Professional Chapter. As the years pass, the chapter has grown in both size and influence, becoming a vital part of the professional landscape in Atlanta. Recognizing the need to align more closely with their mission and broaden their reach, the chapter underwent a significant transformation in 2020. It was rebranded as the SHPE Georgia Professional Chapter, reflecting its commitment to the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers and its expanded focus on serving the entire state of Georgia. From 2020 to the present, the SHPE Georgia Professional Chapter has continued to thrive, offering a wide range of programs and initiatives designed to support the professional growth and success of its members. Through conference and summit attendance, workshops, networking events, and community service events, the chapter has made a lasting impact on the lives of countless professionals and the communities we serve.
